The Trade Bank of Iraq has opened its 24th branch in Babylon Mall at Al-Mansour area. The work at the branch started on (28/8/2017). Beside the usual banking services, Babylon branch provides “TESTAHEL”, “Sayarty” and “Jumar” products.
Also, the Trade Bank of Iraq is the first bank that provides Over Night deposit service at its branch at Babylon Mall.

TBI VS (GK Auto) Agreement
A cooperation agreement has been signed between the TRADE BANK of IRAQ (TBI) and agent of Hyundai in Iraq (GK Auto), Al-Eqtesad AlArabi Car Company

Concerning the plan of the bank to support the private sector and provide best services for its customers, a new agreement has been signed with (GK Auto) Al-Eqtesad Al-Arabi Car Company the agent of Hyundai in Iraq, in accordance with “Sayarty” , which is product issued by the Trade Bank of Iraq so that employees, who receive their salaries from the bank, can buy cars in installments. According to the agreement, the bank shall grant loans reaching to 60,000,000 Million IQD as maximum to the employees willing to buy Hyundai cars.
While (GK Auto), shall carry out the sale process. The company shall also provide service centers and original spare parts after sale, not mentioning that the cars (Hyundai brand) will have 3 years guarantee (or 60000 km).
Assistance General Manager of TBI, Mr. Fouad Al-Wakeel, Chief Executive, Mr. Hazim Abdul Rahim and Authorized Manager of Al-Eqtesad Al-Arabi Cars Company, Mr. Yousef Morris, have signed the agreement in the presence of Mr. Mahmoud Fayed, the Sales Manager.

TBI and Anwar Babel sign Agreement

Yesterday, A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Trade bank of Iraq (TBI) and Anwar Babel for Automobile services, which is the exclusive distributer of NISSAN cars in Iraq, have signed an agreement regarding granting car loans at the company’s main showroom at Al-Karrada area in Baghdad.
The previously mentioned agreement, which was signed by Assistant Manager of TBI, Mr. Fouad Al-Wakeel and Authorized Director, Mr. Sadiq Khadim, resembles a new activity by Anwar Babel to provide more services for its customers and facilitate purchasing NISSAN cars, the thing that will build a long-term relationship between the company and the customers and gaining their satisfaction.
The agreement also provides an additional service provided by the bank to its customers from different segments to facilitate their purchase of cars through partnerships with well-known companies having a significant and good reputation in the Iraqi market, such as Anwar Babel for Automobile services.
Under that agreement, the bank will lend employees, whose receive their salaries from the bank and willing to buy NISSAN cars. The loans amount is up to 60,000,000 IQD. Anwar Babel for Automobile services will handle the sales process of NISSAN cars to those borrowers. The process shall also include After Sale services along with providing the necessary spare parts. A cooperation agreement has been signed between the TRADE BANK of IRAQ (TBI) and the United Automobile Company (UTAC), which is the official and exclusive distributer of Renault brand in Iraq, concerning providing loans for employees to buy these cars. The event took place at the company’s main showroom at Al-Saadon Street in Baghdad.
The previously mentioned agreement, which was signed by Assistant Manager of TBI, Mr. Fouad Al-Wakeel and Authorized Director, Mr. Luay Shareef Atia, resembles a new activity by UTAC to provide more services for its customers and facilitate purchasing Renault cars, the thing that will build a long-term relationship between the company and the customers and gaining their satisfaction.
By this agreement, UTAC shall expand the category of persons willing to buy these unique & modern cars of Renault brand.

On the 1st of July 2018, Trade Bank of Iraq opened a new branch in the Ministry of Oil after it was habilitated by the engineering staff.
Mr. Jabar Al luaibi, the minister of oil and Mr. Faisal Al Haimus the president of TBI, begun the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new branch.
Mr. Jabar Al luaibi said: we celebrate today the opening of a new branch of TBI, it is an important step towards providing banking services for the ministry and for the national oil companies in order to achieve high fluency in transactions, which constitute an essential cornerstone in financial management of various oil projects.
Mr. Faisal al Haimus said that transferring bank’s office to a branch is a step forward to intensify bank’s presence by Providing all its services through a wide network of local branches, also to support the ministry employees who work directly with the bank through salaries domiciliation according to the prime minister instructions, Mr. Haider Al Abadi.
It is worth mentioning that TBI was established 2003 as an independent government entity to facilitate the importation & exportation of goods in order to service national economy. On Friday (14/7/2017) The Trade Bank of Iraq celebrated the great victory achieved by the Iraqi brave soldiers in Mosul. The event was attended by Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus, Acting CEO & Chairman of TBI and its employees expressing their happiness concerning ISIS defeat by writing on the bank outside walls.
In addition, our TBI stuff at north and central parts branches have organized a march to thank the IRAQI soldiers for all the sacrifices they made.
TBI has also arranged a visit for all injured soldiers, to whom Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus along with his deputies and assistants presented presents and certificate of appreciation, at “Medical City” hospital in Baghdad.

On 4/6/2018 a news agency called (Mwazeen News) published on its official website “Trade Bank of Iraq refrains paying USD to customers”.
Trade Bank of Iraq wants to negate this false news, for TBI did not refrain paying USD to customers, but have temporarily shut down all ATMs on 30 & 31 May and partially shut it down for 6 hours from 12 to 6 AM on the first of June for improving and updating purposes. Earlier to this procedure, we have notified all bank customers by publishing ads in all our official websites and social media and sent Emails clarifying the reasons in this regard.
Media world requires accuracy and trusted sources, so we hope that publishers adopt that principle before publishing wrong information’s that would jeopardize the reputation of a foundation like TBI which represents an important economic interface for Iraq.

It is worth mentioning that the “TESTAHEL” is one of the new products issued for the first time in Iraq by Trade Bank of Iraq and has the approval of the Central Bank of Iraq. The citizen can participate in it by depositing IQD 500,000 thousand in one of TBI branches of the bank to get a chance to win prizes through monthly draws, one semi-annual and one annual draw in accordance with the previously mentioned conditions.
On 28/05/2018, Trade bank of Iraq hosted a Ramadan iftar banquet for VIPs in support of youth projects presented in the UNDP, which was funded by TBI last year. The banquet was attended by the founder of “Printo” project Mr. Ali Yousif, and the co-founders of “Ekfel Nakhla” project Mr. Ahmed Al Jawadi & Ms. Ammna Al Sultani.
Each one of them discussed their journey starting from planning the projects until brought out to life, and how TBI played an essential role supporting them to success.

The TBI Tournament of Ramadan, which is first of its kind, has ended successfully. It included three games (Football, Table Tennis, Snakes& Ladders).
Over the holy month of Ramadan, the teams competed throughout Iraq as : ( south, north, central) teams.
Yesterday, the final round of the competition was held.
Erbil, AL Nasiriyah, Head office and Al Harthiya won the first, second, third and fourth places respectively.
In table tennis game, Qusay Hamid from Al-Harithiya branch won the first place, Sarkot Mirkhan from Erbil branch won the second, Nawar Abdul Nabi from Basra branch won the third place and the fourth place was won by Hussein Fahmi from Hilla branch.
In the game of snakes and ladders, Hussein Ghadir from Maysan branch, won the first place, Walaa Rifat from Erbil branch won the second place, Ammar Abdul Jalil from Karbala won the third place and the fourth place was won by Shahad al-Saadi from Baghdad.
Additionally, Saif Salah from the branch of Nasiriyah won a cup for BEST GOALKEEPER, and Kamel Shaker was handed the cup for the BEST SCORER during the tournament. TBI crowned the teams with golden, silver and bronze medals. The cups were handed to the them by the CEO, Mr. FAISAL AHAIMUS, and Deputy CEO’s: Mr.Foud ALWakeel and Mr.Firas Hamdani.

In supporting our beloved Iraq, TBI has transferred 214 trillion Iraqi dinars out of its profits for 2017 to the State Treasury. This amount represents 50% the annual profit for 2017 and the step is a second of its kind.

TBI Obtains (ISO/ 9001-2015) certificate
In order to streamline our processes and improve the quality of our services, TBI is proud to announce that it has obtained the Quality Certification ISO/ 9001-2015.
TBI is the first Iraqi financial institution to receive this certification.
The remittances, letters of credit, and the letters of guarantee departments were certified in order to support our correspondent banking network.
Yesterday, Acting CEO and chairman of TRADE BANK of IRAQ and his deputies along with several department heads have visited the first TBI Tournament in Ramadan to encourage the participating teams.

A cooperation agreement between the TRADE BANK of IRAQ (TBI) and the SAS Automotive Services Company
The main showroom of SAS / Toyota, adjacent to the Baghdad International Fair in the Mansour district, witnessed the most important commercial areas of Baghdad. On 15 June, the signing ceremony of an agreement was signed by the TRADE BANK Of IRAQ and SAS. The agreement was signed by the Deputy General Manager Mr. Fuad Al-Wakil and signed by Mr. Masahiko Tanikuji. The signing of this agreement comes within the framework of exchanging ideas between the two parties and meeting their efforts to contribute to support the staff segment. The bank will lend loans to employees who are seeking to buy Toyota cars from SAS, whose salaries have been settled at the branches of the bank. Loans will reach a ceiling of around 60 million dinars, while SAS will insure sales of Toyota cars to buyers through borrowing from the bank. After-sale services and original spare parts, as well as sales under the manufacturer’s warranty, in accordance with the regulations of the Toyota factories, and what Toyota dealers usually offer.

“SYARTY” is approved by the Central Bank of Iraq and was first launched in 30/05/2017. There will be a specialized officer and finance manager available at the exhibition to facilitate applications for the offers of my car and give the answer within 48 hours at the same exhibition, This agreement for “SYARTY” is the second of its kind, where the first took place with Al-Doh exclusive dealer of cars (DODGE, JEEP, CHRYSLER).
The TRADE BANK of IRAQ, in cooperation with Al Doh company, is offering loans for those willing to purchase (DODGE, JEEP, CHRYSLER) cars through “SYARETY” product.
TBI started a week ago the first TBI Ramadan Tournament Games (snakes and ladders) in all regions.
