Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI) proudly participated as sponsor in the Iraqi Telecom Summit conference held in Baghdad at the Babylon Rotana Hotel on 2024, this event was attended by Minister of Communications, Mrs. Hiam Al-Yasiri, and the Prime Minister’s Advisor, Dr. Hassan Al-Khatib and a number of other specialists and interested parties.

During this summit, issues related to the development of Iraq’s telecommunications and technology sector in general were discussed, highlighting key transformations and future technologies, and emphasis on the development of telecommunications infrastructure and improving Internet services in line with developed countries.

TBI’s participation as a golden sponsor of the summit aims to support this sector with its development plans to develop the communications and Internet sector, as these sectors represent an essential pillar for supporting government services provided to citizens, and this is achieved by providing better services and a higher speed in completing work, saving time and efforts and keeping up with global technological development in these sectors.
