TBI as Main Sponsor of the Iraqi Digital Space Forum 2025

The Iraqi Digital Space Forum 2025 was held under the main sponsorship of Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI). The forum was widely participated by government bodies, academia, and the private sector. It discussed key topics including governance, electronic payment systems, cybersecurity, innovation, and the role of artificial intelligence in supporting Iraq’s digital transformation. The event was organized by the National Security Advisory, in collaboration with the Communications and Media Commission, the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, and the International Chamber of Commerce, and attended by several advisors from the Council of Ministers, civil society organizations, and specialized private sector companies.

TBI Official Spokesman, Mr. Ahmed Saad Al-Khazraji, said: “We are proud to participate as sponsors of the second edition of the Digital Transformation Forum, given the forum’s importance in highlighting programs that automate and digitize processes, and in addressing key priorities that help simplify procedures for citizens.”

He added: “At TBI, we believe that digital transformation is a duty, not an option. We are steadily and continuously working to digitize all our banking operations and procedures for our clients, including individuals, companies, and government entities, thereby streamlining processes and improving service quality.”

The forum’s organizers aim to develop a practical roadmap to support digital transformation, strengthen cybersecurity, and advance a legislative and technical environment capable of keeping pace with global developments in technology and artificial intelligence. This responds to the urgent need for legislation that safeguards information and communications technology, regulates data use, and ensures proper practices in AI deployment in Iraq. The organizers also emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation among various sectors and institutions to develop academic programs and stimulate innovation in areas such as e-commerce, fintech, and related technologies.
