Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani assigns Mr. Bilal Al-Hamdani as President of the Trade Bank of Iraq

Following the executive order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Mr. Bilal Al-Hamdani commenced his duties as the president of the Trade Bank of Iraq and Chairman of the Board of Directors on 24 January 2023 (in addition to his post as Director General of the Industrial Bank).

Mr. Al-Hamdani met with the bank’s senior staff as soon as he arrived to review the working mechanism of the bank in general, stressing that an expanded strategic action plan will be developed based on the directives of the Prime Minister for the advancement of the Iraqi financial sector.
