On (15/8/2017) Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus, Acting CEO & Chairman of the Trade Bank of Iraq visited Mr. Sadeq Madlul, the Governor of Babil, the president of the Governorate Council, Mr. Raad Hamza Al-Jubouri and Mr. Asaad Al-Musallamawi, member of the Governorate of Council.
The most important talks that have been held were the ones regarding how TBI supports the Governorate Councils, especially finding alternatives for the governorates incomes and backing privet sector along with its projects in compliance with directives of the Prime Minister, Dr. Haider Al-Obady.
After that, Acting CEO, the Governor of Babylon and Major General, Mr. Ali Hassan , who is Babylon police chief, visited TBI branch at Babylon, during which, long discussions have been held with investors and business men concerning facilities provided to them as well as the obstacles they face at work and the possible solutions.
At the end, the Governor of Babylon, the president of the Governorate Council, TBI Acting CEO, the Manager of TBI branch at Basra and others visited the Sugar Refinery, where they met Mr. Muhammad Hussein, Chairman of Etihad Food Group and Mr. Rhyad Kadihm, Authorized Manager of the same company, which is one of the biggest local companies in Iraq and Middle East in food industries.
Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus expressed his gratitude for the great hospitality and said:
“It is important for us to lead the banking sector by supporting both private and state sectors of the economical activates to benefit the economy of Iraq in compliance with Directives of the Prime Minister, Dr. Haider Al-Obady”
