Under the official sponsorship of Trade Bank of Iraq “TBI”, the Women and Economic Development Forum was held in Baghdad at the Babylon Hotel. The event was attended by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Othman Al-Juhaishi, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Women’s Affairs, Ms. Ala Talabani, and the Director General of the Women’s Affairs Department, Ms. Yusra Al-Alla as well as a number of distinguished government officials and prominent community leaders.
This sponsorship reflects the Bank’s commitment to supporting national initiatives contributing to advancing sustainable development. Representing the official sponsor, Ms. Sally Saad, Head of TBI Women’s Affairs Division, delivered a keynote address in which she expressed her pride in every Iraqi woman who inspires change and hope.
