Trade Bank of Iraq participates in the annual forum of compliance managers in the Arab Republic of Egypt

Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI) participated in the annual forum for compliance managers in Arab banks as part of the activities of the Union of Arab Banks, held in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh in the Arab Republic of Egypt for the period from June 6 till 8, 2024.

The forum was organized under the patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, Mr. Hassan Abdullah, and attended by an elite group of Arab banking sector leaders. The forum sessions addressed a number of critical issues related to banking compliance and its role in enhancing financial stability and economic growth in the Arab region.

During their participation in the aforementioned event, the delegation from TBI emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in the field of banking compliance, combating money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as the exchange of experiences and knowledge among Arab banks, which contributes to the development of this vital sector.
